Marking a Lesson as Paid or Unpaid (Instructors)

If a student pays you offline (cash, e-transfer, etc.), you can track the payment status in SwingMatch.

Updated today

How to mark a lesson as paid

  1. Open the lesson from My Lessons.

  2. In the Payment Details section (on the sidebar or below the lesson info), you'll see the current status — usually "Offline Pending" in orange.

  3. Tap Mark as Paid.

  4. The status updates to "Captured" in green.

How to mark a lesson as unpaid

If you marked a lesson as paid by mistake:

  1. Open the lesson.

  2. In the Payment Details section, tap Mark as Unpaid.

  3. The status reverts to "Offline Pending."

Sending a payment reminder

If a student hasn't paid yet:

  1. Open the lesson.

  2. In the Payment Details section, tap Send Reminder.

  3. A message is sent to the student via SMS with the amount owed and lesson details.

The reminder uses your custom template if you've set one up in Account → Payment tab. Otherwise, a default message is sent.

You can also send reminders from the Reports page — see Viewing your revenue and reports.

Good to know

  • These options only appear for offline payments. Credit card payments and package credits are tracked automatically.

  • Payment status changes are logged in the lesson's activity timeline.

  • You can see all outstanding (unpaid) lessons in one place on the Reports page under Outstanding Payments.
