Changing Your Name, Email, or Phone Number

This article explains how to update your account information on SwingMatch.

How to change your name

  1. Go to Account from the main menu.

  2. On the General tab, find the Account Info card.

  3. Tap Change next to your name.

  4. Enter your new name in the modal that appears.

  5. Tap Save.

Important (Instructors): Changing your name will change your public booking link (e.g., swingmatch.ca/my/instructors/jane-smith-ab12). Any links you've already shared will stop working. Only change your name if you made a mistake during onboarding.


How to change your email

  1. Go to Account β†’ General tab.

  2. Tap Change next to your email address.

  3. Enter your new email address.

  4. Tap Save.

After changing your email, you'll need to verify the new address. See Verifying your email address.


How to change your phone number

Your phone number cannot be changed from your account settings. Since your phone number is your sign-in method, this change must be handled by the SwingMatch support team.

To request a phone number change, contact SwingMatch support.


Good to know

  • Your email is used for notifications like booking confirmations and lesson reminders. It's not used for signing in.

  • Your phone number is your sign-in method. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone.

  • Your name appears on your public profile (instructors) and is visible to anyone you book with. Changing it will update your booking link.
