Verifying Your Email Address

Verifying your email ensures you receive booking confirmations, lesson reminders, and other notifications from SwingMatch.

How to verify your email

  1. Go to Account from the main menu.

  2. On the General tab, look at the Account Info card.

  3. If your email is unverified, you'll see a red warning icon next to it along with a Verify Email button.

  4. Tap Verify Email.

  5. A verification email is sent to your address. Open the email and click the verification link.

After clicking the link, your email is verified and you'll see a green checkmark next to it in Account settings.


When is verification needed?

  • Instructors: A verification email is sent automatically when you sign up. If you didn't verify at that time, you can do it anytime from Account settings. An email verification banner may appear at the top of the app reminding you.

  • Students: Students sign up with a phone number and get a temporary email automatically. You can add your real email and verify it to start receiving email notifications.


I didn't receive the verification email

  • Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Make sure the email address is correct β€” tap Change next to your email in Account settings to update it if needed.

  • Tap Verify Email again to resend the verification link.


Good to know

  • You'll still receive email notifications even if your email is unverified β€” verification just confirms the address belongs to you.

  • You only need to verify once. If you change your email later, you'll need to verify the new address.

  • The verification link expires after a period of time. If it does, tap Verify Email again for a fresh link.
