How Packages Work
Creation: An instructor sets up a package, such as "5 Adult Lessons for $400".
Purchase: A student purchases or accepts the offered package.
Booking: Every time a student books a lesson, they can use a package credit instead of paying at checkout.
Tracking: Both students and instructors can automatically see how many credits remain.
Example
If you purchase an "Adult 5-Pack":
Total credits: 5.
After 2 lessons: 3 credits remaining.
After 5 lessons: 0 credits remaining; the package is fully used.
Mixed Packages
Some packages include various types of offerings, such as a "Beginner's Bundle" containing one evaluation lesson and three adult lessons. Each specific offering within the bundle has its own independent credit count.
Expiration and Schedule Restrictions
Expiration: Credits do not automatically expire and remain available until used, though individual instructors may set their own policies in the package notes. See Package Expiration for more details.
Schedule Ties: Packages are tied to the specific schedule (offering) they were created under.
Portability: Credits cannot be moved between different schedules (e.g., a package for "Riverside Golf" cannot be used for "Hillside CC").
Schedule Deletion: Instructors are unable to delete a schedule until all associated packages are used or zeroed out.
Good to Know
Automatic Tracking: You do not need to manually count or update your remaining credits.
No Checkout Cost: Booking with a credit is free at the time of booking because the payment was completed during the initial package purchase.
Viewing Packages: You can view your active packages in the Packages tab under My Lessons, or on the instructor’s profile.
