This article is for academy admins. You can add new coaches to your academy by inviting them by text from the Coaches tab.
Sending an invite
Go to Academy from the main menu and open the Coaches tab.
Tap Invite coach.
Enter the coach's Mobile number (North American numbers only).
Tap Send invite.
What happens next
The coach gets a text with an instructor signup link.
They appear under Pending invites until they sign up as an instructor with that same number and verify it. They're then added to your academy automatically.
Once they've joined, their name and profile photo appear on your academy's public page.
The invite expires 30 days after it was first sent.
Managing pending invites
Under Pending invites you'll see each invited number, when it was last sent, and when it expires.
Resend sends the text again. You can resend once an hour. Resending doesn't extend the 30-day expiry.
Cancel withdraws the invite.
When an invite can't be sent
The number already belongs to a SwingMatch account. Existing SwingMatch instructors, and numbers already on a student account, have to be added by SwingMatch staff. Contact us and we'll set them up.
Another academy has already invited that number.
You've reached the daily limit. Each academy can send up to 20 invites a day. Try again tomorrow.
Good to know
Only academy admins can invite or remove coaches. Other coaches in your academy can see the Coaches tab, but not the invite or remove options.
