How to cancel
Open the lesson from My Lessons.
Tap one of the following (depending on the lesson status):
Cancel Request — If the lesson is still pending confirmation.
Cancel Lesson — If the lesson has already been confirmed.
Optionally enter a reason for cancelling.
Confirm the cancellation.
The lesson moves to Cancelled status and the other person is notified.
Before cancelling a confirmed lesson, you'll see a suggestion: "Need to cancel? Consider rescheduling instead!" You can tap Reschedule to propose a new time instead of cancelling outright.
What happens to payment
Payment method | What happens |
Package credit | The credit is automatically restored to the student's package. |
Credit card | Contact the instructor for a refund. Instructors can issue refunds from their Stripe Dashboard. |
Offline | Handle any refund directly with the other party. |
Good to know
You can cancel a lesson that's in Pending Confirmation or Confirmed status.
You cannot cancel a lesson that's already Completed, Declined, or Cancelled.
Lessons more than a day past their scheduled end time cannot be cancelled.
The cancellation reason is optional but recommended — it's shown to the other person on the lesson detail page.
