Getting announcements from your coach

Some coaches send announcements: open lesson times, clinics, events and news. You only get them from coaches you say yes to, and you can stop them any time.

Any of these works:

Each choice is for one coach only.

Announcements are only emailed to a confirmed email address. If yours isn't confirmed yet, tap Confirm your email in the bell menu, or Send link in Account → Coach announcements, then click the link we email you.

Signed up with your phone number? Add your email first in Account.

Until your email is confirmed, you'll still see announcements in the app.

Open Messages and tap the Announcements tab, next to Chats. New announcements are counted in the message badge at the top of the app.

Want to answer your coach? Reply to the email, or tap Message [coach]. Your reply goes to your coach, not to SwingMatch.

Any of these turns off one coach's announcements:

Booking emails and lesson reminders are not affected. Past announcements stay in the app. You can turn them back on any time from your coach's profile.

For each announcement, your coach can see by name whether it reached you, and whether you opened it, clicked a link or read it in the app. Your coach never sees your email address in these reports, isn't shown who said no or unsubscribed, and isn't told if you mark an announcement as spam.
